As a PADI Certified Dive Center, our certifications are recognized worldwide so your diving experiences are never-ending! Have you ever been to a seaside destination and wondered what it was like under the water? Most of our clients started their adventure snorkeling and quickly found that there is so much more underwater! The Open Water Scuba Diving course is your first step in the scuba diving certification process. You don’t need prior experience to sign up for this course, just give us a call!

Here is what to expect…

We start right here in the classroom. We utilize a combination of in class instruction and online instruction to give our customers a well-rounded experience. Next up is our confined water dives. Here you will learn your basic scuba skills and put all that new-found knowledge to the test! You will learn to use basic scuba gear including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, surface marker buoy, and a tank in the water. Once you’ve mastered your confined water dives, it is off to the open waters! We’ll visit spots like Lake Pleasant to refine your skills even further so that you can eventually head off to the deep blue sea!

Open Water 1: Develop and practice scuba skills in a pool or water with pool-like conditions under direct instructor supervision. As you learn new skills, you’ll build the abilities and confidence needed for diving in open water, such as in a lake or the ocean.

Open Water 2: Get ready to experience everything you’ve learned with the freedom of open water. As soon as your open water training dives are approved by your instructor you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, enabling you to embark on unforgettable adventures.

To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
